Recommended rider: fun for all skill levels but ideal for intermediate-level to advanced surfers. The thruster set up on this board provides plenty of control. It also features some of the most “knifey” rails in the game so don’t be afraid to put this board on rail.

Ideal wave size: 2-5 foot waves with some down-the-line form.

The Frankenfish features a retro fish outline with plenty of width and volume at the chest for glide and a tidy swallow tail to keep it loose. Ride it as a thruster for added control and drive, or remove the back fin to get that classic twin-fin feel.

Great board and plenty of fun to throw around. Was purchased for our 9yo daughter to learn on and has been perfect for that too! Only issue is the fin boxes aren’t strong enough. Overall a great board

Wave Catching machine Really fun board handles well, Has been a great addition to my quiver for small days. Frankenfish sea foam blue board Our daughter tryed out this board from a friend of our in North Narrabeen and she loved the way it handles so we bought this for our 11 year old daughter for Christmas’s it was the next step up from her 7 foot foamie. She loves it great to paddle on - easy to get up on and loves the range of colours you can choose from. She Is looking fwd to advancing her surfing on this board. Great service

Surprising in a good way Bought this for my 7 year old, she was frothing to learn to surf. I jumped on for a few waves and was pleasantly surprised, you can actually do rail turns on this thing. It’s fast, fluent, great in small waves and turns, the rails are low enough and the board rigid enough to surf it well. As I said pleasantly surprised
